Isaac Alley
Dear Mr. Alley,
Today I am writing about Gun Control and the underage limit. I believe that we should higher the age limit to 21 years old to be able to obtain a firearm, so that people in American feel safer in their schools, their homes, and their jobs.
One of the reasons that we should raise the age limit is because an American value is that men and women should be over the age of 21 to be able to defend themselves and their property. The reasoning behind why the age limit should be 21 is because the statistics show they have more developed brains and make more sound decisions. The Federal Government can create laws that will set the age limit to 21 and will be enforced by the federal Bureau of Alcohol and Firearms.
Currently, the age limit in most states is 18. However, I think 18 is too low for people to own firearms because the suicide, homicide, and accident-related deaths are much higher for people between the ages of 18-21, than 21-26. What we should do to implement this, is we need to make more extensive background checks to make sure that the person that is trying to obtain a firearm is over 21 years old and is not 18 years old

Dear Mr. Alley,
I am writing to you today to bring an important matter to your attention. I am sure you are aware of the many negative effects of climate change currently impacting our country. The increases in the planet’s temperatures, the rising of sea levels, and the increase in extreme weather events are all signs of a changing climate. Something must be done about this.
While there are many possible ways this could be dealt with, I believe that a law should be put in place that would restrict the use of fossil fuels, mandate testing and reporting for emissions for corporations, and provide incentives for using clean energy. This will not only cause widespread action taken to comply and therefore work against climate change, it will also give a reason for people to go beyond the minimum requirements. This means that in the end, this policy, in conjunction with others, will play a major role in reducing and reversing the harmful effects of climate change.
Although there are some regulations in place, they are nowhere near as effective or comprehensive as they need to be. This new policy would be enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as they are the most qualified department to handle this issue of great magnitude.

Dear Mr. Alley,
I am writing To you today to inform a critical element into days society. I am writing to you about the lack of economic opportunity and unemployment. As part of the community, we believe in raising the minimum way and better pathways to jobs with increasing financial literacy.
We would receive better job opportunities if we got better understanding of financial skills, management, etc. we believe this because we could be making communities stronger and bringing fresh solutions to the worlds challenges. Not having a job can cause economic, cultural and social isolation. It not only leads to reduced productivity and GDP but also increases economic costs for the state.
Currently many people are unemployed due to performance issues, economic conditions, and lack of experience. So one change in financial literacy, could affect and change this community and country with a big and better outcome.
